It allows the new water concept in LittleBigPlanet to expand and it should appeal to all fans of the blockbuster film series. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" theme will be in full effect in the fully unveiled level kit , which features a ton of make-it-yourself goodies and other unique items: we'll get stuff like Scuba Gear, 5 "Pirates"-themed levels, a new Sackboy costume, 4 new music tracks, a new level background, 8 materials, 14 decorations, 27 objects, 133 stickers, and 11 all new Trophies to snag. You can get it all for the price of $5.99 when it arrives on the PlayStation Network on December 22; European gamers will pay £4.79. You should also visit the official site linked above to learn more about how water works in the LBP universe, just because you may not be familiar with the setting. There's a "Help" section there that answers questions like, "Can Sackboy breathe under water?", "How can I tweak water and what can be tweaked about it?", and "How much does water cost?" Media Molecule continues to add innovation to the game that wowed us all a year ago…yes, it has already been a year.
But LittleBigPlanet has never been more entertaining thanks to the tireless efforts of the developers. Of course we don't need a sequel; this game is continually growing!

Why Pirates of the Caribbean? I'd rather they chose Waterworld than those overly lengthy movies. Though, now that I think about it, I guess there really is no other franchise they could use to display the new water tool. I'm gonna buy it, but I'm gonna hate every second of that purchase until I play it and smile because it's LBP.
Well think of it this way, now you have free reign to make the water world level yourself.
Because Disney has some sort of stake in LBP now.

First one was good, second was kinda meh, third put me to sleep on three seperate occasions. Don't know why, but that is one tough movie to sit through.

This is good news. since E3 ive been waiting for this. Considering Pirates of the Carribbean: curse of the black pearl is my fav. movie this just adds to that! very excited to see LBP get this treatment!

In just a week??? I've gotta buy LBP GOTY soon or im gonna miss out T^T I've been dying for Mm to make a new level set and this seems like just the ticket ^_^ plus I was sad to see the POTC movies come to an end so this is a nice way to see them honored ^_^
My 5 y/o niece is gonna love this, her favourite game mixed with her favourite movies. Babysitting is gonna be easy.

A Ratchet & Clank pack was never in the works.
I heard a rumor that a r&c add on was in the works. That one would obviusly be an instant buy cuz r&c and lbp are one of my two favorite games. but the add on i am looking forward to the most is Uncharted! even though i havn't heard any rumors about that one it would be sweet.
