Well, we don't have any for you, but EA is gonna hand out a bunch over the next few weeks. According to a new announcement at the official Battlefield site , we've learned that all you need for a shot at a code is Battlefield 1943 . If you already have that excellent downloadable game on your PS3, simply sign in to play a few rounds and you'll automatically be entered into the drawing. These simple "Play and Win" sweepstakes pertains to North America (please bear that in mind) and covers the span of time between November 24 and December 10. If you don't have Battlefield 1943 , Sony is now offering an exclusive theme for the benefit of this promotion, so now's a good time to snag it. If you're lucky enough to get yourself a code, you'll be invited to join the others who are currently testing the game on the Arica Harbor map. EA has said in the past that Bad Company 2 is coming along very nicely and if you're a fan of the genre (or of the original title), you'll definitely want to pick it up.
I just think it's cool that for the first time, a beta test for a multiplatform title is exclusive to the PlayStation 3. You may have also noticed the PS3-branded ads for Assassin's Creed II thanks to a deal between Sony and Ubisoft. Yep, Sony is pushing hard these days.

I just signed up for an account at Fileplanet (I think that's what it was) and got a beta code. I'm not really into FPS games or war games like this in general, but I'm in love with this game. I can't believe how great it plays and looks (imo of course) for such an early beta. I've already made a few psn friends through playing the game and I'm now seriously thinking about picking up the final product in March.

just a FYI its not exclusive to the ps3 its also on PC.
but anyway, im downloading the update now than into the action.
there going to have a hard time prying me away from assassins creed 2 though.
buy it, it's a great little game, damn adficting is what it is, I've had it since Its release and I still play it occasionally
or just a suggestion… you could just play the contest that i've got going in the forums… i have 11 codes for BC2…….
or just get the codes from IGN.com for free! or not! ur choice! the beta is kinda meh though…i stopped after 5 min!
Well this is as good as excuse as any to jump back into battlfield 1943. It'll feel a bit funky after all that MW2 though.
Just a heads up on the Bad Company 2 beta….. It is Awesome!! will not rave on about it, though I easily could. It is the must have multi-player game for 2010.
why not just pre order the game at gamestop and get in the beta faster than a contest?

They were giving out over 65,000 beta codes on gamespot like clockwork. Maybe they still are.

It is not, it is in europe as well. USA got it a couple of days before the EU that is all.
Eh, if you liked bfbc1 you'll love bfbc2, it's the same stuff pretty much. i like it, but it just feels to clunky still.
I think the feel is right, bfbc1 was a little too clunky I agree, but this is better, feels more like it use too when I was playing it on the P.C.
You say clunky, I say sticky. bfbc1 felt sticky. You were running, then stopping and trying to turn and go sideways was a chore. BFBC2 feels way smoother. And when youre running you no longer have to keep pressing down on the thumbstick. just once and go
The demo rocks btw. Smooth, awesome graphics and attention to detail is amazing. also, no mic issues!
@ roryjhynes,it's not just for the USA mate as we got it a day before the USA did here in the UK,EA and the officialbfbc2 on twitter were giving them out last week mate but you had to be damn quick to get one and it took me a while but i got there in the end,oh and i still had to wait before i got to play as Sony was having trouble sorting out the chat feature on the beta but it's all good now 😉
