You know, some of you shoppers are just plain crazy. Getting up at 4 a.m. in the cold so you can drive to the stores and battle mobs of equally insane people? Where does that get fun?
Well, it's just another one of those things that still exist and remains popular despite the fact that I will never understand it. And if you're planning on hitting the stores super early on Black Friday – which is next week, by the way – you might want to stop in at GameStop. According to a bunch of special ads collected by Kotaku , there are several great deals that might catch your attention. First up are the bundle deals; you can grab a PlayStation 3 with LittleBigPlanet and the God of War Collection for only $299 (essentially, the games are free) or an Xbox 360 with LEGO Batman , Pure, and your choice of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare or Spider-Man: Web of Shadows for the same price. You can also snag certain awesome games for only $39.99 – Batman: Arkham Asylum and Call of Duty: World at War are two such titles – and Grand Theft Auto IV is all the way down to $20. There are also plenty of deals for the Wii and handhelds so if you've got the necessary motivation, you'll definitely want to take advantage of these very brief sales.
Yeah, you gotta get up early and it's usually raining (or snowing) or something, but maybe that's all part of the fun. Maybe that's what I'm missing…I dunno.
