John-ShepardIf there's one game you probably shouldn't ignore, it's Just Cause 2 . Developer Avalanche seems to have built upon the solid and very promising foundation established in the original title, which was admittedly lacking in execution.
And now, it seems they've put a little extra effort into the PlayStation 3 version, although until we hear straight from the designers themselves, we can only call this secondary information. But anyway, they recently held an event in London where it was apparently announced that the PS3 version will feature the following special features :
We have seen other multiplatform titles boast features exclusive to the PS3 version in the past but most times, the PS3 version of whatever game came out after the Xbox 360 version. In this case, we're looking at a simultaneous launch for both versions and yet, it appears as if the PS3 version is getting this bonus content. Why? We haven't the slightest idea; perhaps they just found the PS3 more accessible for these features, or something. Well, whatever the reason, I'm sure PS3 owners everywhere will be appreciative.

Hm, just cause 2 is such an improvement to the first. i saw a couple vids of it and it seems interesting at least.
The first one escaped my notice completely, but I like the trend of PS3 games finally taking advantage of the system and doing more with it in the multiplat arena. Especially when it isn't as a "sorry" for giving us the game so late nobody cares anymore.
Yeah, and those 'sorrys' usually come with a $10 dlc price tag.
I wouldn't be suprised if this had to do with Square Enix given the fact they are now calling the shot.

GT5 recording system isn't new as the feature is also in GT3 and Tourist Tourist; the latter allowed you to upload your stuff to a website via USB drive.

Isn't this being put out by Eidos (or Square Enix now; whatever)? And Eidos also released Batman: Arkham Asylum, correct? That game was loaded with PS3 goodies, too. Seems like Eidos has a favorite system. =P
or maybe sonys starting to open up their checkbook.

Yeah, the developers of cross-platform games are offering some kind of contest to see who can fill up all of the Blu-ray disk with excellence while still releasing their game on the "other console."
Naughty Dog accepted this contest with Uncharted 2, but they never won because they realized that only a third of their game would fit on the "other console."
That's why a lot of new games will have exclusive PS3 content.

Well I don't know about Just Cause, but the video capture of Uncharted 2 multiplayer is absolutely fantastic. I've laughed myself silly watching my first ever UC2 online match. If JC can bring that kind of hilarity to their game then I'm all for it.
i'm suspecting they r trying 2 hide the frame rate issue with these so called ''exclusive''crappy features….
this is really nice because the developers are making full use of the ps3 and it's great abilities.
Nice. I would like to know why every PS3 game does not have the YouTube feature.
COD MW2? No.
Killzone 2? No.
inFamous? No.
Uncharted 2? No.
I could go on and on, but I believe I have made my point.
The devs need to use the PS3 for everything it brings to the table, and that's the bottom line.
to me this game looks like it is going to be mercinaries 2 only with a grappling hook and a parachute, oh wait mercinaries 2 had a grapling hook as well didn't it. anyway the point is mercinaries 2 sucked big time.
