Ben-DutkaYou can bet we're gonna be all over any Killzone 3 rumors, just because we maintain that Killzone 2 is the best FPS of the generation thus far.
Previously, it was reported in the Official PlayStation Magazine that the third installment was among the "Secret Games of 2010," which of course is nothing more than speculation but still managed to prompt plenty of debate. Now, according to Connected Consoles citing a video interview on a Dutch TV Show, it seems the game really might launch late next year, although 2011 seems more realistic. Guerilla Studios' Jan-Bart Van Beek said:
"Right now, Killzone 3 for a release in 2011, is being developed. Who knows, maybe we'll see the game even as early as 2010."
After the tremendous success of KZ2, it seems almost inevitable that we'd see another title and you can bet it will be downright huge. Could it be the first major holiday 2010 title? It all depends on Guerilla, of course, and we're willing to bet Sony may have some input on the matter; release dates have become a science in the industry lately, as a game could hit a wall just because it launches alongside intense competition. But right now, we have no idea what might be here towards the end of next year, so we'd be happy to hear that KZ3 is set for a Q4 2010 launch.
I'm thinking 1st quarter 2011. By then I'll be done with MW2 anyways…
Wish list? MORE COLORS!!!! Co-Op, way more in-depth multiplayer. KZ2's multiplayer, while fantastic, lacks the hard core stats I loved with Halo 3. k/d ratio, who killed who the most, with what weapon you used the most, head shots, ect…
The controls were fine, I loved the weighty feel to them.
Also, I think it would be cool to play as the Helghast, and see the story from their point of view. I found my self relating more to them by the end of the game than the ISA.
hope KZ3 pulls an uncharted2, and launches of a great base, to completely pwn.

Every time i hear about KZ3 i go all warm inside ;-)but man as early as 2010 that remains to be seen but it gives us all something to look forward to,but even if it's early 2011 i would still be happy as this has to be a must for me because i still have KZ1 and KZ2 so you just know i would have to get KZ3 to make the set up to date.
