There's a whole lot of PlayStation 3 love floating around out there. First, we learn Sony and Ubisoft have decided to push the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed II together, and now:
You've probably heard about the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 beta rumor, but that has now been clarified. As announced at the PlayStation Blog , this beta test will be coming exclusively to the PS3. The game's associate producer, Gordon Van Dyke, says that starting November 19, those who own Sony's console will be able to sample the huge "Africa Harbor" map that allows up to 24 players to go at it. The mode in question will be the new "Rush" game mode and you'll have to push forward "across a variety of different locations." How do you get in? Well, you can continue to frequent the Blog as they'll be handing out a few beta codes, but you can also pre-order the game "at a participating retailer." Lastly, some game sites will have a few codes to hand out as well, so feel free to check out places like GameSpot and IGN. If you enjoyed the original Battlefield , there's a damn good chance you'll love the sequel so here's your chance to get involved early.
Bad Company 2 is slated to arrive in March and while we know there are other massive titles set for that time, well…you can always take out a second mortgage, or something.
