Ben-DutkaIf you start up Uncharted 2: Among Thieves , you'll find that you need to download an update before you can begin playing. Well, that's only the start of the Halloween festivities for Naughty Dog's gem.
As revealed at the PlayStation Blog , this update addresses several reported problems and makes the game even cleaner, especially online. The list of fixes and repairs is at the blog; they added those features that would "deter players from voluntarily leaving a match" (remember this article ?), added a rate limit to "When a Chapter is Completed" Twitter event, fixed the "Players Met" list not displaying recent players, and much more… Halloween is today and to celebrate, Naughty Dog will be holding a Double Cash Weekend, which is currently under way. You'll receive twice the normal Cash reward for completing typical game actions, so it's a great time to get involved in the competitive and co-op multiplayer aspects of the game. Naughty Dog members will also be involved in the mix so if you see a red paw next to a name, feel free to say "hi" or just cap 'em and brag to your friends that you nailed an Uncharted 2 designer.
Oh, and we're warned to look out for "something spooky around the next corner." We have no idea what that means exactly but based on the screenshot seen at the blog, we get the feeling it's definitely Halloween – and undead – related. Have fun, peeps!

I want to be able to turn on single player and say " Oh my God what is this, as good as I am, I must of missed something, how can this be?" that's when downloadable content will truly mean something for everyone.

I have to agree, DLC has usually been something we just looked at and said, "This couldn't of been in the original disc?" But when you get something that really brings the game to a new level, and really shows that it took a lot of time and hard labor to make it, you respect it a lot more, and understand it was an obvious thing that needed to be seperate for realease dates to be met.

AHH!!! That's what it is! I just got to level 46 and turned on my Situational Awareness booster and all my guys at that time turned to either undead or skelzor characters online. I thought it was the booster that did this but its not!! I was worried there for a second…oh and that booster sucks major @ss so don't waste your money.

yeah, me too. i beat the game on crushing to get the marco polo skin. It just kills it when everyone else is using a skeleton skin.

No not yet, I'm an RPG nut first and foremost so I went with Demon's Souls. I will get it, (loved the beta)but right now Drake won't mind taking a backseat with you ninjas keepin him company.
Im the same world, cant get all the good games this fall. but for me, i just dont have the money this time. i used to buy games everytime a good one came out. but for this fall, all i got is uncharted 2, tekken 6 (48 bucks at fry's = geek heaven), and modern warfare 2. I wouldnt say that you're missing out on uncharted 2 because i see its value mostly on the single player aspect but once modern warfare 2 comes out, uncharted 2 might loose some online players. which can be a good or bad thing. kids move on to MW4 = less times being grenaded by your own team mates.

damn you naughty dog,lol. I just bought tekken 6. Now i gotta put that away till monday and try to level up. I was on the naughty dog website and this guy was just complaining a lot about how long it takes to get to the max level. Im not aiming for it, i'll just play. why? because you dont get anything for maxing out, its not like its a trophy or something. plus the boosters on higher levels are pretty much crap anyway. I would like to use doughnut drake but that'll just make you a bigger target so i can live without it. But heres hoping that doughnut drake is unlocked for thanksgiving weekend though. hahaha.
