Maybe you've experimented with all the available superheroes until you're blue in the face. Maybe you require more than just the optional Juggernaut.
Well, good news for all you Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 fans: according to an announcement in the Ultimate Alliance 2 forums , the first batch of downloadable content will be available next week. It'll arrive on November 5 on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace; it'll be on the latter for $9.99 and the former for 800 Microsoft Points. This new pack gets you five new characters: Black Panther, Cable, Carnage, Psylocke, "and a player to be nmed later." European gamers have to wait until the following week to nab these superheroes but hey, no offense to our buddies across the pond, we figure they're used to waiting by now. Ultimate Alliance 2 proved to be a competent and enjoyable action/RPG that really flowed quite well and offered plenty of interesting variations. Being able to team up in any number of ways really added a great deal of flavor to this one, and in all honesty, it didn't get boring. Marvel fans should've been satisfied with the final product in our opinion.
Of course, we still wait patiently for the return of Champions of Norrath or Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance …even when we know our waiting is completely futile. 'sigh'

Paying for Characters? It should be at least $5 🙁
At MOST $5.
I knew what you meant. 😉
Yah, sorry about that, Thank You for correcting me 🙂
$9.99?! That's a bummer. I was really excited about the new characters, especially Carnage, but for that price I think I'll pass.
"the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace; it'll be on the latter for $9.99 and the former for 800 Microsoft Points."
I didn't know the PSN used Microsoft Points…
lol @ catching Ben's brainfart.
Superheroes need to take a pillow for awhile.
$10 bucks for five new characters? That's annoying and insulting. I can understand making people pay for more content however with all the heros and villans in the Marvel universe couldn't they have offered at least 10 for $10? I don't know, maybe I was spoiled by Batman AA and the free goodness. *sigh*

shoulda been free! by now people have probably played through both sides of the story, and paying for extra characters doesnt really grant another play through with the new ones, especially having to pay for them!
There is actually 4 sim missions that are coming as new DLC as well. I'm not sure if they'll be sold seperate but $10 for 5 characters is a little ridiculous so I'm guessing the $10 will include the four new sim missions as well. Sorry for not providing a link for my claims it's just, I know I'm right that 4 new sim missions are incoming as well. Whether or not they're included in the $10, idk the answer to that.

I personally have no problem paying the extra $10. That's only $2 per character which is the same price as characters for PAIN or costumes for LittleBigPlanet. If it was just a skin of the character, that'd be annoying. The fact that they have different moves and new fusions makes it worth it, though. I just wish they'd re-release the Juggernaut to buy because there's no way I'm buying him for $40 on eBay.
I feel cheated by PAIN even though I got it as a free download via voucher. Here I thought I was getting a full game, no I was getting a level to play with and could have the full game only if I rolled out the cash…. so my free voucher was more of a free demo, since I can't even get all the trophies w/o buying content.
I actually just finished reading at Marvel's Web site that the package will only include three characters; Cable, Psylocke and Carnage. It'll still cost $9.99, too. However, the package will not only include the three characters. It'll also come with simulator missions and extra boosts. So yeah, I'd still say it's worth it. They also announced that Juggernaut will be available for $1.99 on the same day. Excuse me while I go laugh at the suckers who're buying him for $40 and up on eBay. =D
i just picked this game up yesterday at best buy for the buy 2 get 1 free. i was actually pretty excited to get it cuz i had forgot about it but really wanted to play it. then i realized it was made by activision after i had bought it and was a little mad that i gave them my money. that lasted about 2 minutes figureing i didnt pay full price for this anyway.
i didnt plan on playing this game right away so by the time i do i will probably pick up the characters. dont really like havein to pay for dlc but its how activison does it.
