Although it's not exactly as popular as Entertainment Tonight just yet, video game TV shows are starting to become more and more popular, and it's not just because the industry continues to become more mainstream with every passing day.
No, it's because there are frequently good reasons to tune in; GTTV often opens our eyes to never-before-seen footage of the most anticipated games, and although the biggest announcements are usually leaked online before they're officially announced anywhere, we've gotten some big news from Geoff Keighley and Co. in the past. This week, it won't be an announcement but a huge revealing of a sequel that millions have been waiting for…said Keighley on his Twitter page :
"Huge BioShock 2 episode of GTTV coming on Thursday. Lots of new single player info and footage! You'll meet new characters too…"
See, we kinda forgot about this game after it got pushed out of 2009, but every time we hear its name, the warm, fuzzy memories of playing the original come flooding back. Bioshock is absolutely one of the best games of the generation and hopes are sky-high for the sequel. And while we've gleaned some information from the game's official site , we're still a little light on the single-player details. Therefore, if you're one of many who have been waiting not-so-patiently for Bioshock 2 , maybe you should watch GTTV this Thursday and check things out.

Bleh, I haven't even finished the first one. With better games coming out, I may never. I've been hooked on U2 and FF: Dissidia.

Yeah I really never got into the first game, I tried but…I literally got as far as coming out of the elevator the first time going to the underwater place, I just didn't get into it. But Dissidia is loads of fun, wonder why no review too.

I am with you guys I got the 1st one and hardly touched it as better stuff has come out and it has been left. I did like what I seen of it though. Maybe after Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, Forza 3, Tekken 6, Football Manager 2010, Assassins Creed 2, Modern Warfare 2 it will get a look in lol. Thats just some of them 🙂
Least there is a bit of a breather before we get hit in Q1 with the games put back in 2009.

You guys gave up 2 early, i achieved platinum and found it the most fun game ive ever played and u didnt even need to fire a weapon, on survival mode i relied on my plasmids nothing else. Believe it or not , it got G.O.T.Y for a reason.
Can't wait totally getting this game, almost finished paying for the preorder 🙂
I with Tanner on this one you guys definitely gave up too early. Bio Shock 2 will be a day one buy for me. The 1st will always be in my personal best games ever category. One or two Achievments short of 100% on 360 and have been just waiting to finish up some games and buy some before I give the PS3 version hell.

I really liked the 1st one but i'm sure bioshock 2 will be amazing it looks really good.

forcing the player to adopt the big daddy and abandon the gun play for the whole game i think was a bad idea.
only time will tell.
this is by far my favorite game for 2007, which should of got GOTY.

I received a promo copy of the first Bioshock when it came out for the PS3… I only got into it recently as I didn't have anything else to play. Still saving up some cash to buy all the new games I want. And seeing that I am moving to a new house in 2 weeks my cash flow has been severely diluted by everything that goes alongside an event like this…. Plus I'm being screwed around by my previous &^&^$$##@!#!## bodycorp.
So yeah I am playing the first Bioshock at the moment so I might play the 2nd but honestly I don't see what the big fuss is about… But I guess so many other people loved it that I can be wrong so I'll complete it before I make my final judgment.
