Well, Halloween is just around the corner and if you've always wanted to go as a medieval assassin, Ubisoft and Atlanta Cutlery and Museum Replicas are giving you the opportunity.
As noted by Kotaku , the agreement allows the latter company to create wristblades (the "Assassin Extension Knife," as pictured here), throwing knives, swords, and all the required clothing that goes along with the outfit, right down to the boots. All this stuff can make you look exactly like Altair in Assassin's Creed but if you purchase the whole smash, it'll cost you over $1000, so you had best be gung-ho about the idea. All this gear is available now and it seems Atlanta Cutlery and Museum Replicas will start shipping new items based on Ezio's character in the sequel, which is scheduled to launch next month. If you want to wait – maybe you'll prefer Ezio – those goodies will be ready some time in the second quarter of next year. If this interests you, feel free to peruse the selection ; maybe you'll find something tailor-made to your liking. As for the weapons, we get the feeling they may be more decorative than functional but even so, be careful with those things, yes?
Next on the list should be Solid Snake. We want the whole kit 'n kaboodle, right down to a silver-haired wig (if we're going for "Old Snake" in MGS4). Who else might we want to look like? Kratos from God of War ? Well, if you don't have the requisite physique, that might be downright comical.
SSSWWWEEEETTTTT
Being Altair would be sweet, but the price isn't =(
i would so wanna be ezio, snake or nate drake 😉
I remember when I was little there was a magazine that sold A full rubber Batman (Michael Keaton) costume for around 500. I wanted it sooooo bad. Ahhh……broken dreams.
"we get the feeling they may be more decorative than functional but even so"
I wouldn't bet on that considering where they are from. I've bought items from these battle replica type places and the weapons are very much functional.
It usually depends, though. And I think they have to tell you if it's functional…although I can't remember.
The Assassin Extension Knife is real. It sucks though because there is no shipping to California.
i don't have $1000 for this. some of us have bills and gaming to do
If given this costume as a gift, raise your hand if you would wear it non-stop for a week.
I'd never take it off.
Somebody is gonna get stabbed on Halloween.
LOL, and they'll never know who did it because he'll happen to run into a pack of costume monks
Its all well and good having a costume of Altair… but comon… for halloween, who is that going to "scare" hahahahahaha
how are those things legal?
were not even allowed to walk the streets with a pocket knife let alone a hidden wrist blade.
Hahaha that's awesome…. But if the blade is real there will be so much sh*t. I know I would probably end up stabbing myself…more than once I might ad. Especially if you get drunk and start showing people all there"tricks" you just figured out… Come on man you know how guys get.
Plus I know I would try and stab all the snacks and us it as a kind of fork in some way… Crazy stuff man… and i bet you YouTube will be filled fill disaster clips from that alone…
Still extremely cool thou….
But do you have to cut off your ring finger? ;P
