Ah, Rock Band . It's good fun for everyone. Well, maybe a few of the songs are a tad questionable for the younger folk, so they've decided to adopt the blocky LEGO exterior and provide the masses with a more family-oriented experience.
Enter LEGO Rock Band , which at first we all thought might be some sort of joke, but it proved accurate. It's set to launch next month – hot on the heals of the success of The Beatles: Rock Band – and it appears the full soundtrack has been revealed. As you can see, this list proves the game's demographic target, as it consists more of lighter (less potentially offensive) songs. We've got "Song 2" by Blur, "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi, "The Final Countdown" by Europe, "Breakout" by Foo Fighters, "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5, "So What" by Pink, "We Are The Champions" by Queen, "Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker Jr., "Two Princes" by Spin Doctors, "Free Fallin'" by Tom Petty, and more. Check the full list through the link above; there are a grand total of 45 songs for this Rock Band production, and that's none too shabby. There's a separate track list there for the DS, just in case you plan on going portable with Nintendo's handheld. Rated "E" for "Everyone," they really mean to hone in on the younger audience that would really appreciate this LEGO effort.
The music genre has gone through the roof this generation, so don't think this will be the last of the versions or spin-offs or what-have-you. They're inevitable at this point.

what a great soundtrack. i've never been more interested in a RB or GH than this. still won't get it, but if i consider a music game, this'll be high up the list.
Really excited for some songs, but not so much for others. I'll probably add this to my collection someday.
all i have to say is…
Final count down!
its worth it for that very song lol!
actually this song list is actually very impressive, and i find it more impressive than most weve seen!
I love the song list but I think they should have at least 60 songs on a disc release. I mean the latest Guitar Hero had 85 songs. But the ability to export and $50 price kinda makes up for it. I'm buying this anyway since I have a good excuse, my son.
great more rock band *yawn*
my thoughts exactly…..I've never really seen the appeal and it seems like the biggest rip off going in the video game industry (other than xbl and WOW!!!!)
I find it hilarious that they think songs about drug addiction and nuclear war are family-friendly.
For once, I'm with the people who are unimpressed with the song list. I see only about 15 songs that are must-haves. I'll have to check some of the titles I don't recognize by name on Youtube before I'll know if it's worth it. Even with the reduced price, I doubt I'm buying until the price drops further.
I will get it eventually, though; must have Queen.
