We gave you a shot at snagging a code for the beta test of MAG and I hinted this past weekend that we just might give you a chance at that extremely rare Fortune Hunter Edition of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves . Well, here it is…get ready.
We have five (5) Fortune Hunter Editions to give away and if you're not familiar, this is the uber-limited version of the spectacular Game of the Year candidate. You cannot buy it in stores and SCEA and Naughty Dog have collaborated to give fans a variety of chances to add this gem to their collection; say "thank you" to SCEA for paying attention to PSX Extreme and feast your eyes on what's included in this appealing package that is valued at somewhere around $300, but really, for collectors, it's priceless:
How can you be one of the lucky five? Well, the good news is that it's more about being diligent than lucky. We have embedded a treasure chest image for Uncharted 2 into an article on this site, and all you gotta do is find it. Now, if you're not familiar with us, that's easier said than done…we put up hundreds upon hundreds of news, previews, reviews, and features every month, so you're gonna need at least some luck. The image won't be hard to spot; it sits right there at the end of the article.
If you find it, forward me – bdutka[at]psxextreme.com – a snapshot of the page with the treasure chest clearly shown in the article, and a link to that page. If you're the first, I will respond and ask for your contact information; SCEA will then send you your prize. The only rules:
You must be a US resident and be 18 years of age or older.
You must provide your name, address, phone number and e-mail address when asked.
You must sign an affidavit before receiving your prize (SCEA will provide you with this before sending the shipment).
That's it. Now, if nobody has managed to find it between now and between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., I will update our Twitter page with a hint concerning the treasure chest's secret location. Every time someone does win, we will move the picture's location and the contest will begin anew! We keep going until all five have been given away. Good luck and happy hunting!
