Ben-DutkaSure is purdy, ain't it?
It was announced during Sony's press conference at the Tokyo Game Show, and as soon as we heard about the FFXIII-themed PS3 Slim , we just knew we had to get a look at it. Well, here it is: it's white with the pink emblazoning of main character Lightning on the surface, and it comes complete with that massive 250GB hard drive. Obviously, this system will come bundled with a copy of the hotly anticipated RPG; both the game and the package will be on Japanese store shelves on December 17 (and neither will stay there long). The cost of the bundle is 41,500 yen (or about $462) and let's not forget that Japanese gamers will also have more color choices for the Dual Shock 3 in October. Both Metallic Blue and Deep Red will go on sale but thankfully, we're getting those, too. Well, at least we get something . This very sweet system here makes me want to do the whole importing thing, if I didn't already have a PS3 Slim and I kinda needed FFXIII to be in English. Maybe Square-Enix and Sony will issue a FFXIII PS3 Slim bundle here, too…guess we'll just have to wait and see.
And if you're wondering, it seems that FFXIII really turned some heads at TGS. This probably won't surprise you, but at least it's a damn good sign.

Not as long as Aaron Greenberg has any breath left in his body.Trust me, he and Microsoft would stop that bundle from coming so fast that time would skip backwards.

I'm sure Square-Enix will do something like that for the Xbox, and Microsoft will advertise it as if it's an Xbox exclusive. *sigh* Although Sony will still get more sales in the US.

I believe the different colored PS2s never sold that well so maybe it's us state side that need to prove it to Sony with our purchases.

nope, it will likely not come to the US.
You can still import. The beauty of the PS3 is the region free games. Except Bluray and DVDs from the US may not work on it.

There better not be an xbox 360 bundle. Seriously, who would want to spend more money on a system where the game comes in multiple disks while you can buy a cheaper (and superior) system where the game only comes in one?

I can't believe how this game is making me mad! COME OUT ALREADY! I don't know for sure but I would guess this is the game that has taken the most time to create.
Well, I think it's fugly as all hell. Not as bad as the RE5 Elite in bright blood red(which is STILL the ugliest peice of consumer electronics Ilve ever seen)but ugly enough none the less.
Still, seeing as you guys seem to like it I do find it unfair that it's Japan only though because of the multi play status of FF13 in the west it's could be that it's not a possibility for the US/UK right now.
It's VERY girly, as well, and would wreck my set-ups looks by making my Wii no longer the least macho box by the telly! I'm surprised there's no other, less pink, option either but pergaps the Japanes just don't care as long as there's a FF logo on the thing!
