It's one of the best fighters we've seen this generation, and in great news for our friends across the pond, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger has been confirmed for a European release.
According to One Last Continue , PQube will be distributing this gem by Arc System Works in European regions next year, and better yet, it's coming with some extra stuff! Not only will the game be "fully localized into English, German, French, Italian and Spanish," but additional content will include a character strategy guide, a music soundtrack, plus all new gameplay featuring fresh characters and techniques. As a side note, this launch marks the starting point of a new partnership between PQube and Zen United. Said PQube's Dave Pain:
"The long running 2D fighting genre has seen a welcome boost in 2009 with updated versions of several franchises brought to Next Gen PS3 and 360 consoles."
While it's still true that certain titles take longer to reach Europe, we've seen more examples of worldwide simultaneous releases this generation. And even when Europe has to wait, sometimes they benefit from the delay; all this additional content ought to put a smile on your faces.
