The game is Greed Corp , a turn-based strategy title that will actually be "the first in a series of games situated in a rich, fictional world inspired by the industrial revolutions and their destructive effects on the environment." Most strategy fans are familiar with the concept of harvesting resources, but when one has to consider what this harvesting does to the surrounding landscape, the entire complexion of the adventure changes. Basically, you're dealing with finite resources, which means you'll have the option of destroying your enemies or their land; they'll be trying to do the same to you. We will receive a "comprehensive single-player campaign," and the game will support up to four players at once, in other an offline or online setting. We've often said that the PSN is home to some of the most innovative and unique titles of the generation, and it appears as if we'll have another must-try downloadable game very soon.

M$ announced gears 2 at E3 08 and it was out by november 08.
they announced crackdown 2 at E3 this year and according to EB has a release date of july 22nd.
fact being sony takes their sweet time to release their games.
