Scarface: The World is Yours was a good, solid, open-world GTA-style title that Tony Montana fans should've appreciated. It had its fair share of flaws, but perhaps we'll get a cleaner, sleeker, and deeper sequel…
According to BadAssGamerBlog , it seems we may be able to expect Scarface II at some point next year. The interesting part is that former developer Radical Entertainment doesn't appear to be involved; the project must've passed to another designer. The supposed "inside source" in question stated the following:
"I like to stay close to the gaming community, and let you guys know what I find out around the place, it seems as though a new Scarface game will be hitting the marketplace sometime next year, but don't hold me to this claim, you never know what can happen."
That's fine by us, but if the first game was true to the movie, how exactly would we have a sequel? We admit to not playing through the entire adventure before writing the review so now we wonder what happens at the end of the game…does Montana go down in a hail of bullets, like in the movie? If anyone out there completed Scarface: The World is Yours , please feel free to let us know what happened, and if there seemed to be any room for a sequel. We love us some "Scarface," and we really do believe it could make for a great game on the new systems.

I beat the game, and he does not die, there could very well be room for a sequel, i thought it was a great game!

Although he died at the end of the movie.
The first game took place as the movie ended. Instead of dying (like in the movie) The game re-wrote the ending and you start the game by fighting your way out of your mansion instead of dying. Then with no mansion, no money and nothing but the clothes on your back, you rebuild your empire a la GTA style.
I actually enjoyed the game, as long as you could forget the fact that Tony Montana is really supposed to be dead. I would like to see what they do with a sequel. Probably won't be a day one purchase but count me in for the sequel as well.
Yeah, it was fun as hell to me. I beat it twice. The opening of the game actually took place at the end of the movie right? So the whole first game was already what happened after he was suppose to die. Remember how he escaped in the video game?
After you beat the game you can free roam. I can't wait for the sequel. I hope it supports custom soundtracks. Imagine playing a game where u sell coke, listening to young jeezy/gucci mane in the back ground. Keep me posted Ben!

Was the 1st actually fun? I never got a chance to play it, all my "g" friends couldn't get enough of it.
The first game was really fun… It Could get a bit repetitious, but what game doesn't really?
A sequel on the new consoles will make it incredible. I'll be picking up a copy for sure.
I still have the poster from the first game, with the entire movie script making up an image of Tony Montana.
I hated this movie, Tony was such a C***. But Al Pacino himself is good, far better in The Godfather Part II. but even though i found the lead character annoying i still found the film rather flat. easily one of the most overrated movies ever.
i liked the original better.

i dident get to finish it.
i got to the last mission and for some reason i lost all my respect so i wasnt able to start the final mission, and man was i PISSED!
but i loved how you could call a car in or boat or whatever the hell you wanted, no running around looking for one like a peasant out of GTAIV.
i hope they do another one keep it to the first game the same just new lvls and it would be perfect.
and this time NO BUGS.

i really loved the first Scarface game, i thought it was the best GTA CLONE ive played, real fun to play, and introduced a new shooting mechanic, in car on foot, map system, than even GTAs didnt have, and GTA IV actually took that police radar system aswell.
