Oh look…another Collectors Edition. It hasn't been officially revealed for North America yet, but we figure that announcement isn't far off.
Spotted over at European site 9Lives , it's the special edition for Assassin's Creed II , which is one of our most anticipated titles of 2009. This one is the "White Edition" – the "Black" edition is something else – and it features the Ezio figurine in his white assassin's costume, plus a bonus mission for the game. So this apparently means we'll have a choice between the Black and White Editions of the game, and there's some question as to the price-
"Moreover, you get the White Edition for the price of the ordinary game when you have your pre-orders."
It's a broken translation but we interpret this as meaning that if you pre-order the White Edition, it'll somehow cost the same amount as the standard game. We find this a little difficult to believe, but it's an excellent incentive to drive up pre-orders; if it doesn't cost anything more, then why pass on it? What are you going to use as an excuse? No storage room? We'll bring you more information on both these special editions, and the price details as well. We can't wait to step into the shoes of Ezio!
cool, and Europe complains about getting things later then us.
they allways get things later than US.
rock band 2 rock band 1.
psp go has no date outside US.
uncharted 2 has no date out side US.
ninja gaiden 2 sigma has no date out side US.
should i continue?
i wish sony would adapt a M$ approach to their games and release them worldwide.
Sold!
Seriously dude leave Europe alone, you'd feel the same way if it was you. Otherwise this edition sounds appealing, if the price incentive is true enough.
who are you talking to Mell? And no i wouldnt because i dont whine like a little baby.I didnt say anthing bad about Europe so just let it go.
so ubisoft any word on a collector's edition for usa
Any word on the UMD movie being released with the Assassins Bloodlines PSP Bundle?

You brought Europe out of nowhere, oh wait cos it mentioned that it was spotted on a European website. It had nothing to do with a European release.
"Oh look…another Collectors Edition. It hasn't been officially revealed for North America yet, but we figure that announcement isn't far off." Thats why i brought up Europe, It says that a North American release hasnt been announced and then it goes on to mention it was spotted on a European website so that led me to believe it had already had a European release date.
No you assumed. "…but we figure that announcement isn't far off." It's not definitive.
Thats why I said that led me to believe, i was guessing, so let it go and just shut up man.Btw, learn how to use the reply button.
Somebody call the waaahmbulance. Sorry. I really couldn't help myself. But… I will say this. I am looking forward to this game but will hold off until I finally play the original.
Wow now you resort to my lack of usuing the reply button. I could go low too and critique your grammar. I'll leave it.
Hey Mell, you from Europe?
no, go ahead, idc.Critique away my friend. But you still dont use the reply button.Im done with this arguement, im not getting flamed by Ben for argueing again, so im done.
No. New Zealand.
alright, cool.
Hey me and ffrulez, blitz and somebody else are from New Zealand!
Sweet.
I hope they announce this for North America. That figurine looks sweet, and if it's the same price, why not?
Let's see if this iteration is actually any good first.
if it is anything like the first ,i'll be very glad.
a bit repetitive i'll give u that but i really found it hella fun
I dunno about you but I didn't have an hour to spend just getting from point A to point B.
great news,
ugh exclusive missions, the modern gaming market schemes.
I bought AC1 the other (again), Very good, i just hope this ones not so repetitive.
i was thinking today what would make assassins creed really cool, they wont do it because they want to make combat as slow and painfull as possiable.
but i wish you could hold down a button and string combos together.
like select one enemy hold down the string button than dodge his attack and counter than do the same for the others.
than let go of the string button and boom its done like a cinematic.
Australia gets both Black and White, and of course standard edition. The black is more I think, but the White retails at $120 if I remember correctly.
Why do people in europe complain at all about when they get a particular game at all?
Why not IMPORT it from the U.S. and play along with everyone else? You do know that we speak English also!!
Or does your PS3 not play any other Regions?
btw: I do know that all PS3's have all region playback.
My PS3 will not play american region games/DVDs. Also, if you look at the bottom of the product descriptions at sites like Play, you'll see a text that says "Will play on UK and European Playstation3 only".
Or is there a way to remove the region thing from the PS3?
Whoa, thought I stumbled into a Youtube comments page for a second there…
I wasn't planning on buying this game (definitely renting, though) but now I really want that Ezio figurine…

My thoughts exactly.
Not that weird actually, since I pre-ordered the Special Edition of inFamous for regular price, on Game.
