It's summertime, and we have to assume that many of you are active individuals who have plans that don't involve gaming, and those plans typically involve money. Well, if you're looking for a great game sale, you needn't look any further than your TV.
A bunch of games have just been discounted on the PlayStation Network and if you can't find something that interests you in this lot, you will be stripped of your "gamer" label. If you're a member, you likely already received this e-mail but if you didn't, we'll give you the rundown of titles that are currently on sale. And remember, because none of 'em started out with that intimidating $60 price point, you can pretty much go hog-wild now. See how many games you can nab for less than sixty bucks!
A bunch of great deals there, and shame on you if you don't yet own Wipeout HD . And ya know what? You don't need to figure out how many of these you can get for less than $60; you can buy 'em all for only $48! There's plenty of fun here for a rainy day, but bear in mind that you only have a limited amount of time to take advantage of these sale prices: the summer savings only lasts until July 22, and that's Wednesday, peeps. So don't waste another minute; log on to the PSN and indulge in these freshly reduced games.
Thinking about getting Crash Commando. Anyone know if its good?
I didn't like the demo.
That game is loads of fun and you'll be laughing when you get blown to bits. I recommend it for this price. I paid full price and do not regret it.
5 bucks for CC is a steal! Its got such personality. Addictive too.
I personally love cc, it is my favorite psn game.
Awesome comments, thanks. Picked it up, DLing now 😉
Out of those I already have th ones I want. But thanks for reminding me to checkout the new store update. Work can make me forget things like that.
The earlier demo's for Flock, Savage Moon, and Pixeljunk Eden were fun, so some good deals.
Wipeout HD! So worth it!
I already own four of those (Drats!) but I'm not complaining. I'll probably be picking up Flock! and 3-on-3: NHL Arcade since those are good prices.
i might get Crash Commando, Savage Moon, Wipeout and Brain Challenge for $30 altogether. 😛

i didn't like savage moon but i didn't get that brain one so i can't say if it's good or not. But crash commando is just pure awsome sauce.
i will only get Crash Commando and Brain Challenge after close scrutiny. 😀 thx
crash commando is the best psn game to date so yeah go get it and get the last guy while u are at it wipeout hd is awesome on an lsd.ops meant lcd and high end surrond system
I second the Last Guy (even though its not on sale). I just started playing it again yesterday and it is a blast.
I'd like to have seen Burn, Zombie Burn! put on the list because it's great fun and should be played by all. My ulterior motive is that there'd be more videos on YouTube showing me how to get developer medals. Man they're tough!
Mmmmm, Wipeout expansion. Definite buy.
What's the word on Brain Challenge? For 5bux I'm thinking about it.
I like Brain Challenge. Paid full price for it and I do like the exercises in it. Games like this and Go! Sudoku, Bejeweled 2, etc. are "relaxing" games for me. They're fun, I use my brain but I don't get all aggro with them. Call me crazy but don't call me Shirley.
It's just hard to figure out what the game is from the description they give. I'll have to look around. Not that five bux is a lot but still… what do you do in this game? Is it Brain Age stuff?
Yes. Similar to Brain Age. There are memory, sequence, mathematics, etc.
I would buy them but, I don't believe in digital downloads.
Digital Download = Fail
Digital downloads do exist whether you want to believe in them or not. 😉
