John-ShepardWhen PlayStation Home first launched back in December, most of us loved the concept but acknowledged that it had a long way to go. Well, less than 8 months later, Home has now expanded to something that a great number of people can enjoy for extended periods of time.
Just look at what they added today: the update includes a Buzz! Quiz TV space complete with its own mini-game (this game series is massively popular in Europe, by the way), an EA Club Fight Night space with a DJ and some boxing mini-games, a Namco Museum space for all you nostalgia lovers out there (arcade machines included!), and a Namco theater space. But it doesn't end there. If you wander into the Mall today, you will immediately notice the new look and feel of the establishment; Sony has redone the storefronts and overhauled the music, and of course, they've gone and added lots of new items and clothes for most of the virtual retailers. You really need to go exploring in Home if you haven't visited in a few months, as the updates have been large and frequent. You gotta hand it to the developers; they've continued to expand on a great idea.
And even if none of this interests you, the best part about Home is that eventually, you can be assured that something will interest you. Who knows how huge it will be in a few years time…?
