Most reviews you will find say that Watchmen: The End is Nigh is an average, simplistic downloadable title that can be fun for a while.
You may not have been interested in the idea of purchasing both episodes to find out, but maybe you'll be more inclined to give it a try if the episodes become available on Blu-Ray disc. According to 1Up , Deadline Games director Soren Lund confirmed that Watchmen would move onto a physical format and release on July 21 in North America. Of course, there is a logical reason for this move: the movie, "Watchmen," comes out on DVD at that time, so it would make sense to put the game adaptation on store shelves then, too. Or, if it doesn't quite release on the same day, the article states that The End is Nigh will launch "within two weeks of the film's home release." More concrete details will be heading our way soon but in the meantime, you might want to expect some movie/game packages out there. You know, maybe you can nab both for a certain price, thereby making it a much more attractive option. Furthermore, if you watch and enjoy the movie, you're that much more likely to give the game a try. It's all about marketing and tickling the buying bone, right? Of course, if neither the game or movie is good enough, the consumer may not respond as enthusiastically as a publisher might hope…
Anyway, look for both "Watchmen" the movie and Watchmen: The End is Nigh game to release on disc format in late July.

If they made use of Sony's hybrid discs,it might've made sense.
I never did get to the theatre to see it, did you guys dig it?
It was awesome for me dude. Rorschach is a total BA
Tried the demo for the game but didnt like it, but the movie rocked I planning on getting the extended directors cut that edit in Tales of the Black Frieghter. Itll really feel like the comic cvome to life.
I read the Bluray movie may have the game with it.
first disc based game to not have a platinum trophy
Hollywood is desperate!
Q!
"i am home"
I certainly hope falling asleep watching Watchmen doesn't have the same effect as falling asleep reading Watchmen.
Can't wait for the Blu-Ray of the picture. I'll probably be double-dipping for when the Black Freighter version of the film comes out later this year.
As for the game: meh. Have no interest in a Watchmen game. Might as well make a From Hell game or a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen game or even a Lost Girls game while they're at it. har.
movie and comic is awesome, the game…not so much. way to much cussing in the demo for me, it was ridiculous. i got sick of every enemy calling me the f-word. and the fighting and enemies were pretty boring.
movie=Rorschach=awesome
game=looks good/ boring fights= no buy
animated comic= pretty cool
original comic= must have
black freighter= after thought= no thanks.
I downloaded(gasp) the demo and for me it was just a repetitional crapfest!
Nothing but more, & more, & even more, of the same ole, same ole!
I agree it felt like Nija Turtles the Acade game Havent played a beatem up in years just grew tired of them.
