SCEJ Asks Gamers For Their Services

We know that many of you are always saying things like, "wouldn't it be awesome to get paid to play games?" I could make some sort of smug comment right here, but I'll let it slide. 😉

Anyway, according to PS3Center , Sony Japan will be letting a few gamers sign up to play unreleased titles and provide feedback. That feedback will be used to – presumably – improve the quality of upcoming SCEJ software and perhaps best of all, those who help out will be paid for their time. Two to three hours will bring in 2,500 yen while 6-7 hours nets you 5,000 yen plus a free lunch. If for whatever reason you're in Japan (and can speak and read Japanese), head on over to the Sign-Up Page and enter your information. What's most important to us is the fact that some news may be leaked during these play tests; in fact, it almost seems inevitable that someone will let a few details slip… Furthermore, this is a practice we wholeheartedly believe in, and we're really looking forward to SCEA giving it a shot here in the US. We always feel lucky to play early builds and betas and the like, and we see no reason why avid gamers shouldn't be given a similar chance as well; after all, the consumer is always right! And besides, we get this feeling that some of you would sign up even if you didn't get paid.

Anyway, we'll keep a close eye on the Internet to see if anything squeezes out of these inside looks at unreleased SCEJ titles. Maybe nothing will come of it, but who knows?
