Sega Delays Full Auto 2

Well, that's what we get for saying the PS3 launch lineup is "finalized."

Despite insistent claims that Full Auto 2: Battlelines would release as a "day and date" PS3 launch title, Sega has officially announced that it has pushed the game back by a few weeks. A Sega representative had this to say in a brief interview with IGN :

"The release of Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PS3 is on track for a holiday 2006 release," commented the SEGA's rep. "This highly anticipated award-winning combat racing title is setting the bar on the PS3 with an intense multiplayer mode that enables up to eight gamers to play head-to-head online. SEGA is targeting an early December ship date."

Optimistically speaking, at least we'll have it for the holidays.
