The North American PS3 launch may be less than two weeks away, but those unlucky Europeans have to wait until March to lay their hands on Sony's next-gen console. But at least everyone over the Atlantic can get a look at some of the titles set to be available at their launch.
Today, during Activision's 2Q financial conference call, the company confirmed that they'll deliver the same U.S. PS3 launch titles to Europe in a few months time. Call of Duty 3 , Marvel Ultimate Alliance , and Tony Hawk Project 8 are all slated to release alongside the PS3 in the UK, but there's no word yet on whether or not Activision will make any refinements to the games between now and then.
It's probably expected, but it's also good to get the definitive word on the situation. Potential consumers in Europe are already suffering from the delay, but then again, so are publishers like Activision. It must be frustrating to have all those finished games you can't sell everywhere, right off the bat.
