Ben-DutkaHe's one of our favorite guys, and when he issues a video update and talks about any number of topics under the sun, we always try to tune in. His latest personal video clears something up that has been circulating around the 'Net for the past few weeks.
You all should remember when Jaffe came back from a visit to Sony and raved about how amazing God of War III looked; he dubbed the visuals as something out of a painting. It got everyone very excited, especially because we really haven't seen any footage of the hotly anticipated action title just yet. Then, we heard we'd see a trailer at this year's Spike TV Video Game Awards, so immediately, all interested parties were absolutely stoked. "We'll see what Jaffe saw," was the popular belief. However, as you will hear in Jaffe's latest video , what will be shown at the VGAs is not what he saw. He specifically says he can't really talk about anything more related to GoWIII or Spike (it's not "his space," he says), but after about the 7:15 mark of the video, he clarifies that Spike's teaser isn't what prompted the "painting" comment. Of course, he still says the teaser looks fantastic, but it's just a matter of clarification. The rest of the video is Jaffe being Jaffe, and that's cool by us.
We've been thinking, actually…this guy needs to be a host of something. Not only does he clearly love to talk about games, he has the inside experiences that no other hosts or hostesses have in any game-related program. We just never get tired of his little video speeches and rants.
