It may mean something; it may mean nothing. Here's the picture that is making the rounds on the Internet today, and everyone is wondering what it could possibly mean. Too many people are assuming this is a cryptic message regarding targeted platforms for the next Metal Gear title, but that seems silly to us. Would Konami really base their little teaser around something unrelated to the game? People need to stop assuming that developers and publishers are rabid console followers/fanboys, because for the most part, this has never been true. So what is it? It's an equation, but it doesn't seem to make much sense… Not surprisingly, Konami has already issued the standard "we don't comment on rumor or speculation" reply, which means everyone is free to consider any and all possibilities. We do know another installment in the legendary series is planned, although the days of Solid Snake are over. Whatever this is – it may hint at a storyline theme, or something – series fans everywhere are desperately trying to analyze it.
Sadly, we don't have the time to stare at this thing and try to deduce or discern anything, so we'll leave you to it. It could be absolutely nothing; just a plain ol' Internet prank. But if it really does hold some sort of meaning… Hmm…
