So the rumor is that George Lucas might want to turn Star Wars: The Force Unleashed into a new movie (as unlikely as that may seem to logical folk), but at least the downloadable content for the game is very real.
The only problem is, it was confirmed by European site PS3Clan, which means we got this information through a translation. We believe the details are accurate, although we can't say for sure when it will hit the PlayStation Store; it may be available already, as the source indicates. It's the first DLC package for the latest Star Wars title, and it includes a pack outfit, a picture pack, and several new themes. It retails for $4.99 – or that "4.99" we see may represent the Euro; we're not sure – and the list provided looks like this:
This is one game that could certainly use the benefit of downloadable content, so we hope more is on the way. LucasArts isn't about to just abandon all the fans out there, and many are looking for a reason to play through The Force Unleashed again. Developers have a way of adding longevity to previously released games through the use of DLC; it's a new-generation phenomenon that we wish we could've had back in the day. "Oh look, a new level, new enemy, and new skin for Super Mario Bros. ! Yay!" By the way, did you know that "Imperial Commando" in English is the same thing in Dutch? Yeah, of course you did.
