Apparently, GameTrailers TV is on the verge of breaking off two big announcements this week, and one of them "will have everyone talking."
The first exclusive unveiling that "will rock the Internet" has to do with a new game mode for the upcoming Call of Duty: World at War , which is being played in the teaser video over at Kotaku. We haven't the slightest idea what they're talking about and in all honesty, we don't see how a new game mode can "rock the Internet," but we'll take their word for it. They'll also show off the world's first preview trailer for Namco's Splatterhouse , give us a sneak peak at a "never-before-seen level" in Mirror's Edge , and the last biggie: Neil Patrick Harris is gonna be on board to make the announcement; it's a game he's lending his voice to, and that's all we know. If we remember correctly, he was one of the prominent celebrity voices in Saints Row 2 , but that game is well known by now, so he must be talking about something else…
Anyway, tune in on Friday at 1 a.m. to rake in all the exclusive goodness, and hopefully, the announcements will be as huge as they claim. If not, well, you can at least take solace in the fact that watching a show about video games is the second-best option to actually playing them. We think.
