Ben-DutkaThe Resistance 2 beta is oodles and oodles of high-intensity fun, but many European gamers haven't yet had the pleasure. Well, after a small delay, IGN would like to help you change that.
They were supposed to arrive on Monday but Sony couldn't deliver the batch of key codes at the time, which meant plenty of Euro FPS fans were disappointed. However, as you can see by this IGN UK update , they're up for grabs right now! At the time we're writing this, the first 5,000 are already gone, but 1,900 are left for Founders' Club users. Hurry, hurry! If you can nab one of the remaining codes, perhaps you'll want to go up against the PSXE boys in a few competitive rounds…well, provided we can squeeze in some time to play. Our impressions thus far are mostly positive with a few small exceptions, and every time we log on, we get more excited for the final game's release on November 4. If and when you land a spot in the beta, be certain to try out both the Competitive and Cooperative modes; both are very different and very entertaining.
We've also heard that Play.com has resolved their issue; they were apparently sending out code keys for the closed beta, which caused a lot of confusion. Now, though, they may have a few left for eager EU PS3 users, and the new batch should definitely work. Good luck!
