Sony unveiled numerous new titles for both the PlayStation 3 and PSP at E3 a few months ago, and now, it seems they're prepared to do it again at the Tokyo Game Show in a couple weeks.
According to new information , it seems Sony will be bringing a full plate to TGS 2008, and perhaps more importantly, they plan to unveil at least 11 new games in their repertoire of 40 titles that are on tap for the show. 9 of the mystery titles are published by SCEJ, 1 is by Konami and 1 is by IREM. We have no idea what these games will be, but don't hold your breath for a ton of blockbuster announcements in this area; many of them could be small PSN downloadable titles, and others may not ever make it out of Japan. The Tokyo Game Show typically provides journalists and gamers with a few big announcements, but many times, U.S. consumers have to accept the fact that some titles simply aren't designed for a Western audience. Still, it'll be interesting to see what new projects Sony plans to reveal at the show, and how many of those 11 will be considered "highly anticipated" releases. Oh, and there are also 3 currently unannounced PSP games slated as well, and that's according to Famitsu.
Yeah, it's tough to find reliable information on this show, just because that info tends to always be in Japanese. But so long as we know new stuff will be there, we can begin to speculate…what might we see? Who has any ideas? Games we only heard about but hadn't seen just yet?
