Killzone 2 Closed Beta Shareable?

While console gamers began to gravitate towards the online world last generation, it has become a staple of the video game experience in the new generation. However, things can still be awfully confusing barring official information and details.

As most of you know, Guerilla and Sony will provide us with an open beta test for the hotly anticipated FPS, Killzone 2 . We have yet to learn when it will begin, but it should most certainly start within the next few months. The closed beta test has apparently been going on in Europe for a while and now, thanks to translated information from European gaming site PS3 Sense, it seems the beta codes for this test are actually shareable. In other words, if you were so inclined, you could exchange vital account/code information through the PSN to allow a buddy access to the beta. However, even if this is true – and there's no way of knowing, considering the beta testing hasn't started yet – we need to remind you that sharing such information is most certainly against the rules. So if any of you Euro gamers suddenly find themselves in the beta and a friend wants in, you may be in a position to give them access by sharing the PSN info. Well…do so at your own risk.

We'd like to think we're not far off from seeing an announcement from Guerilla on the beta issue, because the rumors are starting to mount. Fast. Typically, this means the official information isn't far behind…is the closed beta drawing to a close, with the open beta following close behind it?
