Ben-DutkaWith the LittleBigPlanet hype in full swing and October only days away, it's past time to recognize that Media Molecule's intriguing and revolutionary platformer will own the month of October…and perhaps the rest of 2008. The updates just keep coming in.
To ramp up the hype even more, it seems the very first review for the game has leaked to the Internet; it's from the Official PlayStation Magazine, and it's a perfect 10/10. This reminds us of June, when early reviews of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots began to pop up with perfect scores. It appears the two top PlayStation 3 exclusives of 2008 – and we haven't even reached Resistance 2 yet – are bringing in widespread critical acclaim, and that's good news. Now, onto rumors: first, and this is probably just a typo, but check out this picture , taken from a PlayStation Underground e-mail. Look closely; it says the game will be available on October 7. Of course, everyone knows the launch date is October 21, so we're not exactly sure what they're talking about; we can only assume it's a mistake. Then again, perhaps it's not. Perhaps it goes in line with something we just recently heard from a reader with an inside source…
We have agreed to keep the information under wraps for the time being, though, and the only reason we've done that is because it's for the ultimate good of the game. But rest assured, we will tell you about the rumor, which may actually be official info; it's just a matter of time. Anyway, at this point, LittleBigPlanet is poised to take over the world. No, really.
