SOCOM: Confrontation Beta Patch 1.10 Released Today

Yesterday, we told you about the multiple issues the freshly launched SOCOM: Confrontation was experiencing, and that Sony had vowed to fix the problem ASAP. Well, it seems they've done just that, thanks to the 1.10 patch released earlier this morning.

According to a post made by Seth Luisi over at the official Confrontation website, the team has announced they provided annoyed beta testers with this patch during server maintenance that started at 5 a.m. PDT. The patch was designed to address a variety of things, and that includes: added support for European EULAs, added support for dedicated servers located in Europe and Australia, fixes a number of stability and late joining issues, and reduces the volume of the proximity chat by 50%. As Luisi says, this patch won't repair "all issues" but more updates are on the way. At the very least, this should allow users to get back onto the battlefield and test out one of this year's most promising titles, and that's good news. Of course, we'll have to keep an eye on any future patches, which may be just around the corner.

If there are any testers out there who has some feedback concerning the state of the beta, feel free to let us know. Hopefully, the 1.10 update has made the game playable and enjoyable, but there may be other major issues that are putting a crimp in your entertainment. Speak up; Sony listens to feedback.
