Incognito has done a great job of giving avid Warhawk players new reasons to keep coming back, and here comes another one: Operation Fallen Star.
It's the third full expansion pack and it will introduce a whole new level called Tau Crater, which is a "remote, forested level" where an old Chernovan warship loaded with "experimental technology" crashed. According to PS3Fanboy, this expansion will feature ten new battlefields in all (although most, if not all, will be variations of the Tau Crater), and the much talked-about Infantry Jetpack. Operation Fallen Star is scheduled to hit on August 28, and it'll add even more depth and diversity to a game that has received update after update. Incognito hasn't released any new information on any new projects they wish to undertake in this new generation, but as far as Warhawk fans are concerned, the talented developer can just keep pumping out the extra packs.
We can't wait to see what the jetpack brings, because we get the sneaking suspicion it could add a whole new flavor to a game that began with only a couple ships, tanks, and jeeps. Heck, this isn't even the same game, anymore!
