Burnout has always been about mind-melting speed, general intensity, and legitimate "OH!" moments. Criterion has managed to make these games so entertaining by providing a slew of ridiculously fast cars, and recently, ridiculously fast motorcycles. Of course, the addition of the crotch rocket will grant gamers access to a whole new dimension of insanity, but believe it or not, the developers aren't yet satisfied. No, even motorcycles don't go fast enough…planes go faster. Yeah, that's right: planes . According to their official site , Criterion details their latest Cagney update, than says they've been "experimenting with planes" for Burnout Paradise , which is most bizarre but at the same time, also quite intriguing. Crash Mode in a plane? …doesn't everything just disintegrate or liquefy or something?
Anyway, if they really do decide to make this move, we'll definitely tell you about it. It's one update that might actually get the curious to purchase Paradise , just to see how nutty the plane aspect will be. Stay tuned, brave drivers and prospective pilots.
