Normally, we're used to writing depressing stories about Haze ; all of them revolving around the constantly changing release date. But not long ago, Ubisoft officially nailed down a final final date for the US and Europe – May 23 – and they're sticking to that. Well, kinda.
But first and foremost, let us all remind you of the playable demo of the game scheduled for early May (source- ShackNews). Apparently, this demo is going to feature samples of both the game's single-player campaign and the four-player co-op campaign, which is a huge reason to be interested in Haze . We don't have an exact date for this demo, but it will certainly arrive before the game launches, so look for it in the first few weeks of May. Now, it seems the date has changed yet again, but don't freak out: Ubisoft has actually moved the date up a few days to May 20. The PlayStation 3 exclusive is one of the most anticipated games of 2008, so we can't wait to get our hands on that demo…and of course, we're happy there isn't another delay. We just couldn't handle that again.
We'll provide our feedback on that demo when it arrives, and tell you what to expect from the final version. Hopefully, it'll be impressive enough so we can say, "yep, all you PS3 owners gotta buy this one." Stay tuned.
