By now, you're probably aware of the return of the "Indiana Jones" movie series, with the aging yet still capable Harrison Ford as the leading man. To capitalize on the upcoming movie, Activision is bringing out LEGO Indiana Jones , which will be another entry in the successful LEGO video game franchise. If you want to see the full list of details, check over at the Videogaming 247 blog .
We could've predicted most of this, including the use of the signature whip and the classic tongue-in-cheek humor the LEGO games are so famous for, but there's one detail that seems amazing. We're big fans of the "Indiana Jones" movies, so we're pretty familiar with all the characters…and we don't recall seeing 60 , even if we combine all three movies. Regardless, Activision says they will be including 60 playable characters in LEGO Indiana Jones , which is great, albeit a touch confusing. The more characters to unlock and experiment with, the better. That's just a general rule that remains true throughout all the video game world, regardless of title or genre.
Perhaps you can name more characters than we can, but we imagine they'll be making a few up as they go along. Besides, if you count all the bit parts in those films, we figure you can come up with 60 no problem. …we just wonder what kinds of skills those poor slave kids from "Temple of Doom" will have.
