Great news, in fact. If you were worried that you were getting jipped, since the American and European versions of Prologue come with three times the content the Japanese game did, worry no more.
As of now, you can now boot up your Japanese copy of Prologue, and your PlayStation 3 will prompt you to download an update. This update, dubbed Spec II, will update your Japanese game to feature all of the very same components that can be found in the European and American Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
The update launches simultaneously with the European release of Prologue. So if you haven't ran out to a store yet for a copy, do it now! Or download your game via PlayStation Network. Back on topic, this update will give your Japanese Prologue 30 new cars, High Speed Ring, Tuning, new Online components, two-player split-screen…basically everything that the American and European Prologue has.
