We at PSXE have come to the conclusion that Haze , while not exactly a figment of our imaginations, is a game designed to toy with our emotions. It's ridiculous to call the game "vaporware" (it has only had one delay, officially), but with the constant barrage of supposedly confirmed and then unconfirmed release dates, we're getting tired. Hell, we're exhausted .
Yesterday, Ubisoft said we can expect Haze to hit store shelves on May 22 , but once again, that day is called into question. The good news, however, is that gamers in the US might still be set with that date. We don't want to dump on our European friends, of course, but it seems MCVUK has rained a bit on your parade: Ubisoft has updated their initial May 22 announcement, now changing it to just "May" for the UK. This backtracking may not mean anything, or it may mean something…we can't possibly say for certain. What we do know is that Ubisoft won't commit to that date for the UK region, although they "expect a confirmation soon."
'sigh' Sorry, Euro gamers, we know how you feel. Let's just hope May 22 is the official date for both the US and UK, so we can all enjoy Free Radical's promising title together. If that doesn't happen and you guys get it later, well…we'll play it over here and let ya know how it is. 😉
