Ben-DutkaThe long-running saga surrounding a release date for the upcoming PS3 exclusive FPS, Haze , has evidently come to an end.
Initially scheduled to arrive last fall, the game suffered a major delay that caused everyone to wonder what might be happening with the project. However, Free Radical and Ubisoft have continually provided updates to keep us in the loop, even though they haven't issued an official release date. Plenty of rumors earlier this year gave us a good half-dozen possible dates; if we were to link you to each one, you'd be reading more than a few "rumored release date for Haze " stories. But now, according to Videogamer.com, Ubisoft has provided an actual release date: it will hit store shelves for the PlayStation 3 on May 22.
This is in line with the latest gossip that put the release some time this spring. Furthermore, it doesn't appear as if Haze will be available on other platforms any time soon, just because Ubisoft hasn't mentioned anything about an Xbox 360 or PC version. PS3 owners, you've got yourselves a very promising exclusive, here!
