Ever since the official unveiling last month, off-road racing fans have been dying for a look at MotorStorm 2 , which doesn't yet have any screenshots or videos. However, the premiere trailer is set to debut today at IGN at 6 p.m. GMT, so if you're one of the many who enjoyed the original, tune in then for your first gander at this highly anticipated sequel!
From what we've heard, we can't expect much in the way of gameplay (most of the video should be CGI), but we will get "hints at new gameplay elements," which is good enough for us. So far, the only details we have surfaced due to leaked magazine scans , where we found evidence of water and monster trucks. Both are significant, because the water tells us we won't be driving around the desert all the time, and monster trucks…well, they're just bad-ass. We hope to see more of this in the trailer, but Sony's lips are sealed until 6 p.m.
"Despite some haggling, Sony adamantly refused to let us spoil the surprise and give you a sneak-peak at the game so you'll just have to believe us when we say it has the potential to blow your socks clean off your lower appendages."
Oh, there is one last bit of info: four-player split-screen should combine with the online play in MotorStorm 2 , so that's another nice little addition. We assume you'll be able to find the premiere trailer here when the time comes, so make sure to check it out!
