Ben-DutkaNorth American PS3 owners, prepare to salivate: today, Sony has revealed the full details for Gran Turismo 5: Prologue , and we're getting everything we expected plus a lot more!
The game will boast over 60 vehicles and 6 tracks (each with 2 different layouts), plus several additional features that weren't available in the Japanese version. Prologue will hit North America on April 17, and if you're wondering about that list of 60 cars, here are some of the highlights- Nissan GT-R, Ferrari 599, Audi R8 4.2 FSI R Tronic, Acura NSX '91, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) Tuned Car, and many more. The additional features include an all-new Drift Mode, Car Tuning, two-player split-screen racing, and a new set of offline and online Race Events.

Those new online race events allow for 16 players to simultaneously partake of the action, and the added tuning, drift mode and split-screen racing for offline is bound to satisfy anybody who picks this bad boy up.
