According to Ripten, it seems the much-rumored June 12 release date is now official, as it has come "straight from Kojima's mouth." In addition, we can expect full pricing details and a first look at that nifty PS3 bundle on March 21, while the game trailer from last year's Tokyo Game Show hits the Japanese Store today. Metal Gear Online , which will come packaged with MGS4, will boast 5 total maps and more – along with extra character packs – will arrive with the help of future expansions. Now, all of this is basically confirmed, but there's something else circulating around out there that is worth mentioning-
We know about the MGS4 PS3 bundle, but Ripten wonders if we might be seeing a Limited Edition MGS4 PS3 piece of hardware very soon. As you can see in this picture , the MGS4 Special Edition is laid out all pretty like…but the PS3 is blacked out with a question mark over it. So, when Konami and Sony reveal the MGS4 PS3 bundle on March 21, should we expect a fresh PS3 hardware design, too? We can't wait to find out…
