Sierra: World In Conflict Headed To PS3

We have to reiterate- this is the age of the multiplatform game, as it seems no exclusive is safe these days. About two years ago, Sierra Entertainment unveiled World in Conflict , a promising RTS for the PC that will eventually find its way to the Xbox 360. But Sierra wasn't happy with just two major platforms; according to GameSpot, they have just announced that a PS3 version is on the way, too.

Sierra has also issued a delay for the Xbox 360 version, which was initially set for release last fall and is now slated to hit store shelves alongside the PS3 edition later this fall. Now, don't expect a simple port of the PC version, because World in Conflict for the consoles will boast a horde of new content for both the single-player and multiplayer modes. PC gamers won't be left out in the cold, either, as Sierra plans to offer this extra content as an "add-on" some time soon. We assume they're talking about an expansion pack, but that hasn't been confirmed just yet.

Massive Entertainment will be teaming up with Sierra's Swordfish Studios for the console versions of World in Conflict , and we're excited to learn of a true-blue RTS headed to the home console realm. As of now, what genres aren't set to be represented on consoles?
