Ben-DutkaWell, we've already seen TIME magazine's Top 10 Video Games of 2007 – and it's actually quite impressive – so why not compare it to another huge publication? This one is more male-oriented so we might almost want to assume we'd have an even more respectable top 10 list, but…well, perhaps you should be the judge.
Maxim is the latest source to issue their favorite 10 games of the year, and outside of the fact they gave God of War II , Bioshock and The Orange Box their just due, we have a lot of questions. You might have your own questions, but try not to assault Maxim with your feedback. Chances are, they're not going to be making any edits. Here's their list-
Well, Halo 3 , Mass Effect and Rock Band clearly weren't good enough to beat out Stranglehold , Lost Planet and The Darkness . While we enjoyed the latter plenty, and Halo 3 did take home the "User Pick" award for Maxim, we just can't understand the latter half of that list. Granted, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a fantastic game, and arguably a decent choice for #1. But Guitar Hero III at #2 and no Rock Band ? Well, it's their magazine. They can do what they want…we guess.
