It's never much fun to hear about game delays, but it's a lot of fun when a high-profile title releases ahead of schedule. And for perhaps the second time in only three weeks, a potentially top-notch PS3 exclusive should arrive a few days early…
In early October, we received word that Insomniac's Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction had been delayed until the 30th of the month, when it was originally slated for the 23rd. This remained a fact all the way up until the 23rd, when the game mysteriously shipped to retailers. Now, Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune might be experiencing similar early-release treatment. Officially listed with a November 19 date, GameStop now says the game will arrive on November 16, which is this Thursday! How Sony expects us to buy even more games this week is beyond us, but even so, it's good news.
PSXE contacted several GameStops in the area, and all said the same thing: Uncharted comes out on the 16th. So if you haven't had a chance to play that demo yet – check it out on the PlayStation Store – we'd suggest you do that ASAP. If you wait any longer, you can just buy the full game this week!
