Capcom has announced the full publishing details for Devil May Cry 4 , now scheduled to arrive on February 5, 2008 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. And before you even ask, yes, there is a Collectors Edition.
But before we get into that, let's clarify what to expect from this supremely hot action title. As most everyone knows by now, we'll have a new main character this time around in Nero, but Dante is also playable in the story as well. Nero can use the Devil Bringer arm and the Exceed system, both of which are brand new to the series and destined to make action aficionados drool. As Capcom said in the official statement, " Devil May Cry 4 is an epic story where the lines between good and evil are constantly blurred." …we're not quite sure that that means yet, exactly, but we're definitely intrigued. Here's the feature list for the game, straight from the source:
Now, onto that sweet Collectors Edition. It will boast Volume 1 of ADV Films' Devil May Cry: The Animated Series, a Steelbook case, and a bonus DVD loaded with tons of extras. This will cost the expected $79.99, and should release at the same time as the standard edition. That Animated Series anime disc includes the first four episodes of the twelve-episode series, and Volume One can also be purchased separately on the day of the DMC4 launch. As for the bonus DVD, we'll get a "Making of" documentary, music from the game, a digital art book and wallpapers, icons and screen savers. But just to break it down for those of you who'd rather have the list:
Have we mentioned that DMC4 is going to rock ?
