Logitech Reveals Headset, Keyboard For PS3

If you needed more accessories for the PS3, Logitech has you covered. Today, they've announced two new ones – the Logitech Cordless Vantage Headset and the Cordless MediaBoard Pro Bluetooth Keyboard – and both look awfully slick.

The headset, will be priced at $79.99, and its list of features is pretty impressive. It will work to up to 30 feet from the PS3, it's natively supported by the machine, it includes Bluetooth 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) for a "reliable link for hassle-free use with no cords," the ear piece can be positioned on the left or right, there are "noice canceling microphone filters" that get rid of unwanted background noise, and the rechargeable batteries will last for 12 continuous hours of gameplay. Not bad, huh?

The Bluetooth Keyboard, also priced at $79.99, will allow for much quicker web-based processes, like setting up profiles, entering web addresses, managing multiple accounts and sending text messages on the PlayStation Network, etc. Its range is also about 30 feet, it comes with a built-in touch pad for vertical scrolling and left and right-click buttons (no need for a mouse), a dedicated Menu button that will take the user directly to the PlayStation Network Help menu,
and a variety of convenient media keys and dedicated PS3 action buttons. Best of all, two little ol' AA batteries will provide over 200 hours of battery life!

Many PS3 users – especially those who spend a good deal of time online – have been waiting for accessories like these, and here they are. They might be a little pricey, but to us, it seems like you get what you pay for. Cool stuff!
