Been wondering when you could get your hands on the next Need for Speed installment? The vague "Fall 2007" release date not good enough for ya? Fine, EA has announced the official release dates for this highly anticipated game: it should arrive for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America on October 31 and in Europe a day later on November 1. So come Halloween, you can build your own speed-machine, participate in crazy showdowns, and take on a variety of different challenges.
“The Need for Speed franchise has always been on the cutting edge of car culture,” said Executive Producer, Larry LaPierre. “Street racing is getting more organized and Need for Speed ProStreet is our interpretation of where we anticipate the culture to be in three to five years. We’re delivering on the ultimate proving ground, bringing you out of your neighborhood back alleys and on to the world stage. This is a next-gen game, packed with the raw intensity and visceral aggression that defines street racing at the highest level.”
In ProStreet , you will not only race, but you'll even design and race your own car. Once complete, you will take your masterpiece all over the world and compete in multiple events like grip, drag, drift, and speed challenges. Throw in a glossy next-gen visual presentation, and we're gonna have one intense racing experience. The NFS series has always provided us with that much-needed adrenaline surge, and ProStreet just might feature the most energetic gameplay yet.
