We have yet to hear if Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will even make it over to North America, but if it does, it might be nice and free .
According to GameSpot UK, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has said the download will be free when it arrives on the PlayStation Store. We assume he's talking about any and all regions involved, but we can't be entirely sure. His exact words are as follows, and they're awfully encouraging for fans-
"Yes, it will be free for download on the PSN, and we are thinking of charging—but doubt it. For now it is free."
We honestly can't find a logical reason as to why Gran Turismo 5 Prologue shouldn't be released in the U.S.; the series has done very well over here during the years, and there are hordes of fans. Furthermore, you'll probably find a bunch of gamers here who would be willing to pay through the teeth for the download…not that we're encouraging that. Hmm…maybe we shouldn't have mentioned it at all. But hey, we just want it!
