With the possibility that Sony might soon discontinue the PlayStation 3 , we wanted to know:
How would the third PlayStation home console be remembered? Would it be considered one of the best systems Sony ever made or would it be at the bottom of the list?
Well, according to the results of our latest poll, it's impossible to say right now. With such a split vote, we can safely say that PS3's legacy has yet to be determined. Only a small percentage said it would be remembered as the worst – or perhaps least impressive – PlayStation console of all time, but almost exactly the same number of people voted for best ever, second-best, and third-best. Guess it'll continue to be a debate for some time!
This week, we recently heard that developer Supermassive Games has had some internal discussions regarding a follow-up effort to the well-received PlayStation 4 exclusive title, Until Dawn . Do you think we should get another project? A sequel? A prequel? A new game with the same narrative-driven structure? Or something else entirely?
oops I voted for a sequel before seeing I needed to say it was a new story.
oh well, I'm starting to feel not good about going to play PS3 games.
While I am grateful that PS1 started the legacy, I personally think they rank like this…
1. PS2
2. PS4 (ultimately I think this where it will end up)
3. PS3
4. PS1
As far as Until Dawn is concerned, cannot vote since I have not played it.
